Illustration Assignment 1

I finally completed my first long term assignment for illustration! The assignment was to create a character which combined two to three animals. I decided to create a chetah rino hunting it's prey! I just inked the drawing, and although it's not my best work, I had a great time doing it! Can't wait to do more!

Update

So I got to Rinling sucessfully, and it has FINALLY stopped raining!!!!!! The teachers are throwing so much to us at once as far as work and homework, but it is AWESOME! I am taking Illustration and Motion Design, (sadly animaiton was closed) and have learned SO much in just the past couple of days. The following are drawing from the first night (moon drawings), illustration class, and figure drawing. Our figure drawing teacher told us to take five pencils and rubber band them together to draw, then he had us tape charcole to the end of a piece of bamboo and draw! Crazy stuff right!

Disney

Yesterday I was fortunate enough to go to Disney's Hollywood Studios! It was AMAZING! This is my second time, and I must say I LOVED it even more the second time! I finally got to go on the Toystory Mania ride (my best advice is to wait to the end of the day, the wait is ALOT less)! We also went to see Fantasmic and the Animation building! These two events were my personal favorite out of the park!

Traveling

My family got up yesterday at 3:30 to leave at 4:15 to arrive at the airport to catch the 6:23 flight to Orlando. However, due to flying standby, we were unable to get onto the plane. We finally got on a flight to Tampa Florida around 10:30ish. Then we drove to Orlando. I was able to sleep in the airport, so I had enough energy to sketch on the plane. Enjoy.

Today, we are going to the wonderful either Disney or Universal, and the other tomorrow. Then, Sunday, is RINGLING!!!!!

Lets go fly a kite

Hope everyone had a great weekend, I unfortunately needed to spend mine stuffing my brain with a giant amount of information about the nervous system! How I loath tests!

 

Even though our schedules are packed, my friend and I got a chance to work on our math project. The assignment was to design and build a kite. I was able to convince her, that there is no better kite than Totoro!
